Antoinette’s is a slice of Paris in the Rivertowns. Colorful café tables transport diners to Europe, and coffee that is roasted in-house offers a jolt to start the day. A daily menu that features a variety of omelets and other breakfast fare ensures that no two visits to Antoinette’s are the same.

The Black Cat Café is an idyllic coffee shop in an equally idyllic village. The café is open daily for breakfast and lunch, and seats by the window look out onto quaint Main Street. Non-coffee drinkers will rejoice at the long list of teas offered hot or iced; masala chai and cranberry are only a few of the flavors offered. For breakfast, try the daily quiche or French toast served with maple syrup and fresh berries.

At Booskerdoo, a newcomer to the local coffee scene, fresh is their pledge. Every cup brewed in the shop has been roasted onsite within a week of being served. “Fresh coffee tastes amazing,” says owner James Caverly, who set up shop in 2022. Stop in for a maple or pumpkin caramel latte or the Autumn Palmer made of lemonade, hibiscus berry tea, brown sugar cinnamon, and cranberry syrup.
